THE TREND

What is Gangnam Style?

"Gangnam Style" is a K-pop single by South Korean singer Psy, released on July 15, 2012 by YG Entertainment as the lead track of Psy 6 (Six Rules), Part 1. The title refers to the flashy, high-status lifestyle associated with Seoul's Gangnam District.

Its music video, directed by Cho Soo-hyun and filmed in Seoul over about 48 hours, premiered on YouTube the same day. The comedic horse-riding dance and rapid scene changes helped it go viral worldwide; on December 21, 2012 it became the first YouTube video to pass one billion views.

AI remakes keep the recognizable choreography and staging while swapping in new faces. This template uses a short 15-second clip and three photo slots so you can cast the performers without rewriting the dance brief.

How this template works

  1. 01
    Upload three character photos

Add @Image1, @Image2 and @Image3. Use clear single-person photos so each slot maps to one performer in the remake.

  2. 02
    Keep the Gangnam Style motion

The bundled 15-second clip attaches as @Video1. The prompt keeps its motion, pose timing, camera, framing, lighting and background.

  3. 03
    Pick a resolution and generate

Choose 768p for 240 credits or 2K for 390 credits. Prompt, duration and 16:9 framing stay locked.

A famous dance brief, your cast

  • 01
    Three photo slots

Cast multiple performers without rewriting the prompt. Each photo stays mapped to a fixed image mention.

  • 02
    Motion stays recognizable

The locked reference preserves the dance timing and staging that make a Gangnam Style remake readable.

  • 03
    Fixed retail credits

768p and 2K prices stay fixed, so you can review cost before generating.

Prepare your references

Three character photos

Upload JPEG, PNG or WebP photos for @Image1, @Image2 and @Image3. Keep one clearly visible person in each image.

The bundled Gangnam Style clip

The 15-second 16:9 reference attaches automatically as @Video1 and stays locked with the prompt.

What to check in the result

  • Confirm each performer matches the assigned photo at the start, middle and end.
  • Replay fast dance moves for flicker, limb distortion and unstable face edges.
  • Check that motion, framing and background still follow the Gangnam Style reference.

Character identity, motion, camera and background can change during generation. Exact face replacement, unchanged backgrounds and lip sync are not guaranteed. Begin with one short test before making a larger batch.

FAQs

Why do I need three photos?

This remake maps @Image1, @Image2 and @Image3 onto the performers in the bundled clip. Upload one clear person per slot.

Will the original song be included?

This template is for a visual remake. Original audio is not included; add music later if you have rights to use it.

What photo works best?

Use sharp, well-lit photos of one person each, with visible faces and outfits you want to keep.

Do I need to write a prompt?

No. The Gangnam Style replacement prompt and motion reference are already locked.
