CastRemix Privacy Policy

Current service, media processing and account information for CastRemix.

This page explains the data used by the CastRemix workspace. It describes the current workflow rather than promising a storage period or automated deletion process that has not been implemented. Contact options are listed on the contact page.

Account and task information

The service stores account and session information, verification records, prompts, generation settings, task status, credit activity and payment references needed to provide the workspace. Payment-card entry is handled by the configured payment provider, not by the video composer.

Uploaded media and generation

Reference media are uploaded when you submit a generation request. The service stores private reference assets and generated results. The configured generation provider receives your prompt and temporary signed access to the references needed for that task. A provider input link is time-limited; it is not a public gallery link. Provider processing follows that provider's own terms as well as the instructions necessary for the task.

Local browser storage

Draft prompts, settings and saved ideas use browser storage. Local reference files use IndexedDB so they can be restored after reload. The workspace also stores small conversion-deduplication flags. Browser storage is device-specific and can be unavailable or cleared by your browser.

Public examples

Private user tasks and uploads are not automatically turned into public examples. Demonstrations are published separately using reviewed assets, permission confirmation and an explicit publication step. Public examples have stable, publicly accessible media URLs so visitors and search engines can view them.

Analytics

When analytics is configured, the site can record page visits and limited workflow events: starting from a landing page, adding a media type, accepted generation requests, completed tracked tasks and server-confirmed credit purchases. Custom conversion events contain allowlisted workflow properties such as model, duration and credit amount. They do not contain prompts, media names, media URLs, email addresses or uploaded content. Conversion instrumentation respects the browser's Do Not Track signal. Analytics providers may process their own standard visit information when enabled; see their policies and your browser controls.

Removal and retention

You can remove local references from a draft and delete completed video results in the workspace. These actions do not necessarily remove every previously uploaded reference copy. Contact the published support channel for other deletion requests. We do not currently publish a fixed automatic retention period, and we do not claim that account deletion instantly purges every stored media object.

Service providers and updates

Authentication, generation, storage, mail and payment providers process the information needed for their respective functions. We will update this page and the contact information as the public service is configured. Review these details before providing media or purchasing credits.
